CONTROL - AUTHORITY - VALOR
WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?
This archetype doesn’t like to be told what to do or have anyone dominate him. The Manager has embraced the material plane fully and he loves tangible things. The Manager thrives when given control over things like money, food, territory, relationships, business, and lifestyle. The Manager can tell us when and how best to use our resources and spend our energy. In the community this archetype is vital for sustainable abundance.
It’s important to understand that the Manager can only assume control when he is first offered it. Otherwise he will meet fierce resistance from those they are seeking to control. There is a hunter-like essence in this archetype and the skillful hunter knows how to hide and wait for his opportunity to let the game come to him. When the Manager is permitted the driver's seat, no one could be more dependable and trustworthy.
The Manager knows that true power is about speaking and acting from the heart, and grounding all he does in a deep desire to serve. Becoming the true authority requires both surrendering and rising up to meet whatever life brings with enthusiasm and gratitude. The manager will take responsibility and use its wisdom and resourcefulness to move forward.
The Manager will rise to any opportunity and can easily flow between roles. He doesn't get rigid in his control and is not too loose either. The Manager brings his leadership wherever he is needed and can adapt to change well when required. He holds many keys and this is why we have alternative views of how the Manager can show up in life with his skills.
Frustration when under the control of someone else
Seeing things in terms of submission or dominance
You let others remain in control without asserting your own authority. You tend to defer control to life itself therefore not assuming responsibility for the direction in which it takes you. You may unconsciously blame life for whatever happens to you, closing down your willpower. This Shadow is afraid of being in control since it means you alone are accountable for your actions and potential success or failure.
From the Gene Keys
You could be described as a control freak. Your anger is so tightly coiled that they cannot allow any part of your environment to escape their control. You can’t handle change unless you have instigated it. If others transgress the confines of your deeply controlled life, all your pent up tension and anger is likely to be detonated. You may strive to maintain control over others through hierarchical dominance or by taking the moral high ground. Probably, you can only be humbled by a deep physical or emotional crisis, and because of your inability to let go, you often meet crises in life.

EMBRACE your shadows. Sometimes our shadows just need attention and love to be transformed. An embrace is a hug. We pull it in; we do not push away. Hug until it blends and transforms inside of you revealing the GIFT within. The gift is then RELEASED inside you and out of you. You EMBODY the Siddhi when this essence vibrates through your whole being.
