OPINION - FAR-SIGHTEDNESS - OMNISCIENCE
WHO IS THIS ARCHETYPE?
This archetype is driven by ideas and curiosity. The Discoverer forms opinions by projecting the mind into the future, in order to be of service to the world. What matters to the Discoverer is the quality of life and any way of enhancing it. It has the mental ability of seeing the bigger picture.
The Discoverer has the ability to see all the working parts of any structure, detect potential flaws and find solutions based on detailed knowledge. The energy of logic is mastery over time through correction of patterns. The way the Discoverer understands something is often best explained through an image and not words.
There is no there is no better diplomat and debater than this archetype. The Discoverer is not afraid of being
opinionated but more than anything it entertains a broad spectrum of views about all aspects of life. This archetype loves when opinions are tested or criticised and it encourages a fair debate that hears all sides of any story.
The Discoverer remains open without attachment to any strident views. There is a natural inclination within to be fair, balanced, and impartial. This archetype doesn't take itself too seriously - it always keeps its sense of humor.
Finding patterns that lead to solutions
Creating possibilities that enhance life
Opinions that can be tested or challenged
Creating a better future
Anxiety over detail
Identifying with one opinion
The urge to defend opinion
Here you consistently compare yourself to others and undermine yourself through self-criticism. With a strong self-critical aspect, you usually do not value yourself enough to hold an opinion, much less express it. It becomes hard to stand up for yourself since you have no real sense of who you are. Once this shadow has fixed a viewpoint, it can always find evidence to prove the validity of that view. You thus go on accumulating evidence to support the core belief that your life is of little value.
Opinion can be understood as anything that requires defense to uphold. Here you use logic as a means to enforce your opinions and views in the world, thereby making others essentially wrong. You are ruled by your unconscious anger, which is the expression of your deeper fear.
Foundational Energy: Openness
The foundation of the archetype is to be open to many opinions about many different things. You are essentially collecting opinions and open to all kinds of stimuli.
Questions to Consider:
Are you afraid of sharing your opinions?
Where in your life could you use a backbone?
Are your strong opinions creating problems or conflict in your relationships?
Where do you tend to be hard on others?
Do you ever get caught up in defending your opinions?
Are you often trying to convince people to see things your way?
How do you view the world? Is your view lopsided? Can you see the world with equanimity?
Are you being of service in the world? Do you want to do more?
Physiology: Pituitary Glands
Victim of Opinions
I rise above the opinions of others and myself to see the bigger picture
I loosen my grip on my own opinions so that I may be open
I can speak my truth without coercing the other
I do not identify with my opinions and they do not define me
My eyes, mind and heart are open
and so it is easy for me to find the solution to many things
I see what is unseen
I explore all pathways, all possibilities, all dimensions,
and all opinions until I see the truth
I fly high as the Discoverer

EMBRACE your shadows. Sometimes our shadows just need attention and love to be transformed. An embrace is a hug. We pull it in; we do not push away. Hug until it blends and transforms inside of you revealing the GIFT within. The gift is then RELEASED inside you and out of you. You EMBODY the Siddhi when this essence vibrates through your whole being.
